MY STORY

Hello! My name is Coach Eunice. I am a certified nutrition-based weight loss coach, an active-duty U.S. Soldier, a wife, and a mother to an adorable two-year-old son. I completely understand the challenges women face, balancing multiple roles and often putting themselves last. However, it’s crucial to invest in your health because your family depends on you, and you are in charge of your own well-being.

My Personal Struggle with Weight

As a Soldier, I’m required to maintain specific body weight standards. In 2021, I began to struggle with my weight and was at risk of being enrolled in the Army Body Composition Program (ABCP), also known as “fat camp.” The ABCP program provides comprehensive information on weight loss, but you’re expected to make monthly progress or risk being discharged. It’s an extremely stressful situation to be in, but fortunately, I discovered I was pregnant just before my enrollment, which allowed me to avoid the program that year.

The Challenge of Postpartum Weight Loss

During my pregnancy, I gained a significant amount of weight, reaching 195 lbs. After my son was born, I knew I had a lot of work ahead to meet the Army’s standards. I needed to get down to 147 lbs or less within 12 months postpartum. Nine months postpartum, I weighed 165 lbs and had hit a plateau. The pressure of taking care of an infant and fulfilling my duties as a Soldier made it difficult to lose the weight, and being enrolled in the ABCP would have negatively impacted my mental health.

High Stakes and the Turning Point

I was also looking forward to a promotion, but enrollment in the ABCP would have eliminated that opportunity and cut off my access to the Army’s tuition assistance. With so much at stake, I sought help at the Army Wellness Center, but the information I received was vague and not tailored to my specific needs. Desperate for a solution, I found a renowned weight loss coach on social media who had helped thousands of women. Despite the risks of online scams, I took a leap of faith and joined her 12-week weight loss program.

The Game-Changer

The program was a game-changer. Unlike the information dumps I’d experienced before, this coach provided clear, personalized guidance on nutrition and held us accountable. By the end of the first week, I had lost 3 pounds, and by the end of the 12 weeks, I was down to 140 lbs in May 2023, just in time for my workplace weigh-in. I had lost 55 lbs—a tangible result I had never seen before.

A New Me

The transformation was so dramatic that people who knew me before couldn’t help but notice. I had to buy new uniforms and donate my old, oversized clothes, dropping from a size 12 to a size 6. I not only looked great, but I also felt incredible. My body underwent a detox, clearing my mind and boosting my energy levels. I even started looking forward to workouts. My confidence soared as I embraced the person I saw in the mirror. My run time improved, and I felt lighter and healthier overall.

With my certification and personal experience, I’m ready to guide you through your weight loss journey.
